#2 Vocabulary Exercise

I have picked up 5 words as my vocabulary in this article, here are the major definitions and sample sentences of them.

finalize: to complete the last part of a plan, trip, project, etc.
Example: They met to finalize the terms of the treaty.

administration: the people who plan, organize, and run a business, an institution, etc.
Example: We have a meeting with the senior administration at 8:00.

tentative: (of an arrangement, agreement, etc.) not definite or certain because you may want to change it later.
Example: We made a tentative arrangement to meet on Friday.

amid: in the middle of or during something, especially something that causes excitement or fear.
Example: The firm collapsed amid allegations of fraud.

leverage: the ability to influence what people do.
Example: Retailers can exert leverage over producers by threatening to take their business elsewhere.
